The Hoekwil Hoopla Route is a 30km circular motor route which starts in Wilderness, travels up the Serpentine mountain pass through the village of Hoekwil and the farming communities at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains, and then back down through the lakes district. Start Off the N2: Exit the N2 in Wilderness by turning onto George Road. Proceed to Waterside Road: Continue from George Road onto Waterside Road. Turn Left onto Hoekwil Road: Once on Waterside Road, take a left onto Hoekwil Road.
